Baseball Recap: Colusa Comes Up Short

Colusa had lost six straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 3-10 to make it seven. They came up short against the Durham Trojans, falling 14-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 two weeks ago.

As for Durham, the win keeps them at an undefeated 10-0. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 11.2 runs this season.

For Durham's part, BREVAN RING was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was LANDON LYNCH, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

While Colusa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
