Softball Recap: Muhlenberg County Comes Up Short

Muhlenberg County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 12-7 to the Henderson County Colonels. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Colonels from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Mia Jernigan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-4. Abry Carver also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Muhlenberg County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Henderson County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Muhlenberg County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 7-4 win against Logan County on the 27th. As for Henderson County, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Evansville Memorial on the 26th.
