Basketball Recap: ALA - Queen Creek Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

ALA - Queen Creek extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Layfe Clarkson. The ALA - Queen Creek Patriots blew past the ALA - Gilbert North Eagles 69-47 on Thursday thanks in part to Clarkson, who shot 7-for-10 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 32 points and 14 rebounds. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Tyson Kimball, who went 7 for 10 en route to 16 points and six boards. He also put up a steal, which washis first of the season.

ALA - Gilbert North's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Viktor Babic, who posted 15 points. Tanner Morris was another key player, going 5 of 8 on his way to 10 points.
