Baseball Game Preview: White Oak Roughnecks vs. Tatum Eagles

For the second straight game, White Oak will face off against Tatum. The Roughnecks will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Oak has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with four straight losses, while Tatum will come in with three straight victories.

Last Tuesday, White Oak didn't have quite enough to beat Tatum and fell 5-4.

For Tatum's part, Tristin Berry spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on ten hits. Berry has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Jaxen Prince and Cooper Whiteus did most of the damage at the plate: Prince scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Whiteus went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Tatum's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for White Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-7-1.
