Volleyball Recap: Orange Comes Up Short

After flying high against Harvey last Tuesday, Orange came back down to earth. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Salem Quakers on Thursday.

Orange was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Salem work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 27-25, 25-21.

Orange has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season. As for Salem, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-15.

Orange does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Salem, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Edgewood on the 20th.
