Softball Recap: Port Allegany Comes Up Short

After flying high against Smethport on Saturday, Port Allegany came back down to earth. The Gators fell just short of the Northern Potter Panthers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Gators haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Port Allegany's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Northern Potter, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Port Allegany will be playing at home against Kane at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Northern Potter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
