Volleyball Game Preview: South Range Raiders vs. Orrville Red Riders

After both having extra time off, the South Range Raiders and the Orrville Red Riders will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Orrville took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on South Range, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, South Range made easy work of McKinley and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Range was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Orrville didn't have quite enough to beat Chippewa on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Orrville took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-12, 18-25, 20-25, 25-20, 15-13.

South Range has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for Orrville, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.
