It was a good run, but High Point Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their 14-game winning streak dating back to last season on Monday. They fell just short of the West Forsyth Titans by a score of 3-2. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Cougars couldn't push the score so high this time.

High Point Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maci Burkhart, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, High Point Christian Academy fell to 3-1. As for West Forsyth, their win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Coming up, High Point Christian Academy will host Charlotte Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charlotte Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something High Point Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for West Forsyth, they will head out to challenge Glenn at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
