Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Richie Hewitt V and Eden Pardazi Lead Horizon Honors to Victory + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Horizon Honors, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on the Valley Lutheran Flames with a sharp 50-30 victory on Friday. The Eagles' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Leading Horizon Honors to victory were Eden Pardazi and Richie Hewitt V. Pardazi went 7-for-10 on his way to 16 points, while Hewitt V posted 11 points and five rebounds. What's more, Pardazi also posted a 70% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in January. Another player making a difference was Josh Neis, who scored five points.

Horizon Honors was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive matchups.

Valley Lutheran's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Dadah, who earned six points and seven boards. Ian Parker was another key player, putting up four points.
