It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Warren can now relate to. They were beaten by the Rio Hondo Prep Kares 43-16 on Friday. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Noah Penunuri continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rio Hondo Prep, rushing for 203 yards and three touchdowns. Penunuri has been hot, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last six times he's played. Caeden Holcomb also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Rio Hondo Prep, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rio Hondo Prep has also already played their next contest, a 28-14 victory against Poway on the 7th.
