Baseball Recap: Harlan County Comes Up Short

Harlan County's last matchup with Bell County could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Black Bears came up short against the Bobcats, falling 7-1. The Black Bears haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Harlan County's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-8-1. As for Bell County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

While Harlan County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Tuesday.
