Brentwood Academy won the last time they faced Pope John Paul II and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Knights. Considering the Eagles have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brentwood Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Pope John Paul II, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-15.
