That's another feather in the cap for Harvest Baptist Academy, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Jefferson County Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ben Adams. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with three steals. Adams continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Lee Gump, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
The victory got Harvest Baptist Academy back to even at 1-1. As for Jefferson County Christian, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Harvest Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jefferson County Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cornerstone Prep at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
