Baseball Recap: North Royalton Finds Home Field Redemption Against Brecksville-Broadview Heights

There's no place like home for North Royalton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against the Bees on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-3 loss.

At the plate, Zach Horiba was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Cam Saul also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

North Royalton now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Royalton will venture away from home to face off against Mentor at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 10.5 runs per game this season. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, they will head out to take on Brunswick at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
