Softball Recap: Delta Charter Comes Up Short

Delta Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Harrisonburg Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 19-6 two weeks ago.

Delta Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Harrisonburg, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-1.

Coming up, Delta Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Vidalia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Harrisonburg, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-0 win against Sicily Island on the 7th.
