Basketball Recap: Lawrence Piles Up the Points Against Comstock

Lawrence entered their tilt with Comstock on Thursday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 52-16 win over the Comstock Colts. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Lawrence to victory were Carolina Mancera and Hailey Camp. Mancera almost dropped a triple-double with 17 points, 13 boards, and nine steals, while Camp dropped a double-double with 13 points and ten rebounds. Camp has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more blocks the last 26 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Colleen Mccaw, who posted five points.

Lawrence's victory bumped their record up to 15-7. As for Comstock, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-20.

Lawrence wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 36-27 win against Marcellus on the 5th. As for Comstock, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 58-19 defeat against Galesburg-Augusta on the 3rd.
