Football Game Recap: Susquehanna vs. Elmer L. Meyers

If Susquehanna were riding high off their 36-6 takedown of Montrose last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Susquehanna found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 27-51 punch to the gut against Elmer L. Meyers on Saturday. The state rankings had actually given Susquehanna a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

The loss dropped Susquehanna back to even at 3-3. The victory bumped Elmer L. Meyers' record up to 4-2.

Susquehanna will look to defend their home turf next week against Holy Cross at 1:00 PM. As for Elmer L. Meyers, they will face off against Wyoming Area. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Elmer L. Meyers skips in on three wins and Wyoming Area on six.
