Preview: Telfair County Trojans vs. Tattnall County Warriors
The Telfair County Trojans's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Tattnall County Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on December 27th. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Telfair County's 21-6 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a serious blow against Jeff Davis on Tuesday, falling 77-45.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-32, which was the final score in Tattnall County's tilt against Long County on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Tattnall County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while Long County is ranked 100th).
Telfair County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Tattnall County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Telfair County came up short against Tattnall County in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 71-60. Can Telfair County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
