City College strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Lake Clifton Lakers with a sharp 18-10 victory. Fans of the Black Knights have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

City College let Ja'Dyn Muldrow and Keira Thompson run wild. Muldrow went a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Thompson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Thompson has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last nine times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jaylah Stith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

City College was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .636. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .429 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

City College's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Lake Clifton, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
