Riverview is 8-2 against Grosse Ile since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Riverview Pirates will square off against the Grosse Ile Red Devils at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Tuesday, Riverview came up short against St. Mary Catholic Central and fell 61-53. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Grosse Ile also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Huron by a score of 56-49. The defeat continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Chiefs: they've now lost four in a row.

Riverview's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Grosse Ile, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Riverview won a game that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played back in February, slipping by Grosse Ile 39-38. Will Riverview repeat their success, or does Grosse Ile have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
