Basketball Recap: Mercy Culture Prep Comes Up Short

Mercy Culture Prep lost against Nazarene Christian Academy on January 3rd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Mercy Culture Prep Royals came up short against the Nazarene Christian Academy Lions, falling 55-35. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aidan Adams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Nazarene Christian Academy, going 12 for 28 on his way to 32 points and eight boards. Adams' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Alexander Neal was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 15 rebounds.

Mercy Culture Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Nazarene Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Mercy Culture Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 58-26 defeat against Victory Christian Academy on the 25th. Nazarene Christian Academy has also already played their next match, a 56-34 victory against Wichita Christian on the 25th.
