Sheldon had won 14 straight games dating back to last season and Saniah Wiley did her part to make it 15 on Thursday. The Huskies came out on top against the Elk Grove Thundering Herd by a score of 20-10 for which the team can thank Wiley, who threw for 163 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 77 yards. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, defending two passes and snagged four interceptions.

Sheldon's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB four times. In that department, Zoe McAfee was the leader with three sacks.

Sheldon's victory bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Elk Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.

Sheldon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 19-13 loss against Pleasant Grove on the 25th. As for Elk Grove, they have also already played their next contest, a 19-13 win against Cosumnes Oaks on the 23rd.
