Volleyball Recap: Logos Christian Academy Victorious

Logos Christian Academy hadn't done well against Marquette Manor Baptist Academy recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Minutemen 2-1. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 victory the Minutemen walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Logos Christian Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 26-24, 8-25, 25-23.

Despite the loss, Marquette Manor Baptist Academy still got an impressive performance from Sophia Mukenschnabl, who had 26 digs and four aces. Mukenschnabl has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more digs the last four times she's played.

Logos Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-3-1.

Logos Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lake County Baptist on the 25th. As for Marquette Manor Baptist Academy, they will face off against First Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
