Softball Recap: Hesston Comes Up Short

Hesston lost against Haven on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Swathers lost 17-1 to the Wildcats. The matchup marked the Swathers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Hesston saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wendy Roth, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Hesston and nudges their season record down to 14-10. As for Haven, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

Hesston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Haven, they will challenge Wellington at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
