 Oceanside extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Mission Vista. Everything went their way against Mission Vista as they made off with  a  12-5 victory. The result was nothing new for Oceanside, who have now won 16 matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Nayeli Adame spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned  (and two unearned) runs on four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in eight consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Lia Nance was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-5. She is on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  stolen  at least one in the last 11 games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nalia Nuanez, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases and two  RBI.
 On Mission Vista's side,  Rian Hickman was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Hickman was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Hickman wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Addison Raphael, who  scored a  run and  stole two bases while going 1-for-4.
 The  win (which was Oceanside's fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-6-1. As for Mission Vista,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 22-10.
 Oceanside is on the road again  on Thursday to play Sage Creek at 7:00  p.m. Oceanside is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4  runs per game  this season. Mission Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
