Basketball Recap: Carroll's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Carroll has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Eufaula Tigers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 77th, while the Tigers are ranked 208th).

Carroll's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-7. As for Eufaula, they moved to 7-13 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Carroll will square off against Abbeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eufaula, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Eufaula Tigers challenge the Barbour County Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
