Baseball Game Preview: Design Tech Dragons vs. Summit Shasta Black Bears

Design Tech's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Summit Shasta as they made off with a 22-0 win. The Dragons have beaten the Black Bears the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Black Bears has come to flipping the script.

Reilly Sutton made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over 4.2 innings pitched. Those 12 strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, earning two RBI and two runs.

In other batting news, Aidan Tom was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double. Josiah Hernandez was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one stolen base.
