Loretto and Wayne County pushed the score to 8-0 the last time they played Wayne County, but on Thursday defenses reigned supreme. The Mustangs never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 8-0 win back in April.

The victory made it two in a row for Loretto and bumps their season record up to 4-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Wayne County, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-13.

Coming up, Loretto will square off against Richland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Richland will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Loretto surely won't give up without a fight. Wayne County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
