Softball Recap: Calhoun Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Calhoun can now relate to. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carrollton Hawks on Friday. The Warriors have struggled against the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Calhoun saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lilly Pelletier, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 23-9. As for Carrollton, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 35-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Hawks beat Calhoun by a score of 5-1 later that day.
