Volleyball Game Preview: Appleton City Bulldogs vs. Midway Vikings

The Appleton City Bulldogs will face off against the Midway Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Appleton City is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Appleton City came up short against Archie on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-16, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Midway lost 3-0 to Osceola on Tuesday. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-2. As for Appleton City, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.

Appleton City took their victory against Midway in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
