Volleyball Recap: Taylor Extends Winning Streak to Three

Taylor waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mainland Buccaneers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Taylor had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-10, 25-19, 25-8.

Jaelyn Campusano paced Taylor's offense, picking up 15 kills. Campusano got some help from Emely Cardenas and her 25 assists. Cardenas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Taylor's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Mainland, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Taylor has already played their next matchup (against Palatka), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mainland also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Seabreeze.
