Eastern will face off against North Bullitt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Eastern proved they can win big on Monday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Central Hardin, sneaking past 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since April 21st.

Hunter Hvidhyld looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Donovan Webber and DaShawn Tharpe did most of the damage at the plate: Webber went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI, while Tharpe went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave Webber a new career-high. Matt Collier was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Eastern kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 9.6.
Meanwhile, North Bullitt faced North Oldham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Eagles came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-2. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Eagles, who until this game were averaging 3.67 runs allowed.
North Bullitt also got a good showing from Ian Gunning, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Gunning has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Dylan Hornback was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run. Another player making a difference was Rowen Burton, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Eastern's win bumped their record up to 14-18. As for North Bullitt, they moved to 27-9 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
