Franklin had to settle for second on Monday, but Sam Wimer sure wasn't going down easily. Wimer tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit, which was good enough to set a new career-low in earned runs.

Coming up, Wimer and Franklin will welcome Grove City at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wimer had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in May of 2024 18-7.
