Basketball Recap: Beaumont Cougars vs. Cajon Cowboys

The Beaumont Cougars had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They took down Cajon 61-45. 61 seems to be a good number for Beaumont as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beaumont to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adrian Farias, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Payton Joseph, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.

Beaumont pushed their record up to 20-7 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points per game. As for Cajon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-19.

Beaumont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cajon also has no future games currently scheduled.
