Volleyball Recap: Chanute Christian Takes a Loss

Chanute Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Liberty HomeSchool Alliance Arrows. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against Liberty HomeSchool Alliance this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Tuesday.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Liberty HomeSchool Alliance scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20.

Chanute Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Liberty HomeSchool Alliance, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Coming up, Liberty HomeSchool Alliance is taking a road trip to challenge Christian Learning Center at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chanute Christian will be paying especially close attention to Liberty HomeSchool Alliance's contest: after Liberty HomeSchool Alliance faces off against Tyro Christian, they'll take on Chanute Christian again at 5:00 p.m. on October 14.
