Baseball Recap: Bloomfield Takes a Loss

Bloomfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 6-0 to the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-3 back in April.

Bloomfield saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Sayers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4.

Coming up, Bloomfield will challenge Memorial at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Montclair Kimberley Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
