Volleyball Recap: Fieldcrest Comes Up Short

Fieldcrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-9.

Fieldcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12-2. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their 23rd straight at home dating back to last season.

Fieldcrest has already played their next matchup (against Champaign Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Mahomet-Seymour, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against St. Anthony on the 4th.
