Everything went their way against the Savoy Cardinals on Friday as Whitewright made off with a 21-1 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Cardinals recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.
Ian Jordan made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jordan was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Whitewright's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).
In other batting news, Ty Roland and Graham Elliott did most of the damage at the plate: Roland went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI, while Elliott scored three runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.
