Volleyball Recap: Center Comes Up Short

Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Colfax Falcons, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-13, 25-17.

Isabella Kossov paced Center's offense, picking up five kills. Kossov got some help from Renee Bermejo and her eight assists. Leah Roberts controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Center's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Colfax, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season.

Center has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Oakmont on the 9th. As for Colfax, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mira Loma on the 9th.
