Baseball Recap: Franklin County Takes a Loss

Frankfort hit Franklin County with a seven-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Flyers fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 11-10. The Flyers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Franklin County and nudges their season record down to 7-14. As for Frankfort, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7.

While Franklin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
