Baseball Recap: Grant County Braves vs. Simon Kenton Pioneers

Grant County extended their losing streak to five on Tuesday, dropping them down to 12-10. They came up short against the Simon Kenton Pioneers, falling 13-2. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 5-3 to the Pioneers when the teams met back in May of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Caleb Uhl, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March. Jordan Johnson also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Looking ahead, Grant County will challenge Scott County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Simon Kenton, they will face off against Scott at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
