Football Game Preview: South Umpqua vs. St. Mary's

On Friday St. Mary's will take on South Umpqua at 7:00 PM. St. Mary's are coming into the game hot, having won five in a row.

St. Mary's put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Brookings-Harbor as the squad secured a 49-7 win. The rankings were on St. Mary's' side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result.

Meanwhile, South Umpqua lost to Hidden Valley by a decisive 14-34 margin.

St. Mary's's victory lifted them to 5-2 while South Umpqua's loss dropped them down to 2-5. We'll find out if St. Mary's can add another positive mark to their record or if South Umpqua can shake off the loss and take the spring out of St. Mary's's step.
