Volleyball Recap: Cholla Comes Up Short

Cholla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against the Rincon/University Rangers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Cholla took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-15, 25-20.

Cholla's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Rincon/University, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Coming up, Cholla will take on Amphitheater at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rincon/University, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Salpointe Catholic on the 2nd.
