Ovilla Christian waltzed into their contest on Thursday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Valor Preparatory Academy Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Eagles also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

The victory didn't come easy: Valor Preparatory Academy scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21.

Jillian White paced Ovilla Christian's offense, picking up 12 kills. White got some help from Sarah Fanning and her 17 assists. Paisley Crouch controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Ovilla Christian's win bumped their record up to 17-3-1. As for Valor Preparatory Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-10-2.

Ovilla Christian and Valor Preparatory Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to square off against their familiar foe Garland Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Valor Preparatory Academy will take on rival Summit Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
