Trotwood-Madison extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Jermiel Atkins. The Trotwood-Madison Rams came out on top against the Springfield Wildcats by a score of 86-73 on Tuesday thanks in part to Atkins, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 16 rebounds. The contest was his third in a row with at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Darius Dennis, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in assists (six).

Trotwood-Madison's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.9 points per game. As for Springfield, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Trotwood-Madison will face off against Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Springfield, they will look to defend their home court on January 14th against Beavercreek at 7:30 p.m.
