Volleyball Recap: Rocky Mountain Prep SMART Wins Going Away Against DMLK

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the DMLK Panthers as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Ocelotls were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Panthers, so the Ocelotls were just returning the favor.

Alessandra Irazoque paced Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's offense, picking up eight kills. Irazoque got some help from April Vences and her ten assists. Vences was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for DMLK, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-14.

Rocky Mountain Prep SMART didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Montbello on the 30th. DMLK does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
