Baseball Recap: Jones Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Jones can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Eustis Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Fightin' Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jones' record is now 3-12. As for Eustis, they moved to 13-11 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Jones does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eustis, they will square off against Mount Dora at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
