Homestead won the last time they faced Los Gatos and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Homestead Mustangs never let the Los Gatos Wildcats onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. That's two games straight that the Mustangs have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Ojas Khandelwal, which was the first he's scored this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Homestead and bumps their season record up to 7-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 5-9 Wilcox and 7-8 Los Gatos. As for Los Gatos, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season.
