Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Moundridge Wildcats. The Black Bears were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Moundridge scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-19.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 14-14. As for Moundridge, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 31-2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Sterling by a score of 2-0 later that day.
