Basketball Game Preview: Carlton/Wrenshall vs. Northland Eagles

After both having extra time off, Carlton/Wrenshall and the Northland Eagles will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Carlton/Wrenshall is looking for their season's first win.

Last Friday, Carlton/Wrenshall took a blow against East Central, falling 61-29. The match marked Carlton/Wrenshall's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Northland, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They came out on top against Nashwauk-Keewatin by a score of 79-66 two weeks ago. The game marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Carlton/Wrenshall's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northland, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Carlton/Wrenshall was able to grind out a solid victory over Northland in their previous meeting back in February, winning 78-65. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carlton/Wrenshall since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
